Co-operative games, also regularly referred to as co-ops, are those that require players to work together to beat the game. Players will often have unique special abilities or skills that help to achieve the common goal.
Co-ops are particularly good if you have a sore loser, or worse a bad winner! They are also often inclusive as younger players can be carried or aided in the quest and still feel involved. However, co-operative games do not work if a player becomes an alpha, dictating what all other players should do. This is something that needs to be watched out for and discouraged. particularly in a family environment.
